Plans for the Pass the Gavel Banquet are firming up! We'll start with a no host bar Happy Hour from 6:00 to 7:00 on June 28th at the Cottonwood Grill. There will be no Rotary meeting that day. Spouses are invited! Dress is Business Casual. The cost is $10.00 per person. Our menu choices will be Vegetarian Rigatoni, Chicken Cordon Bleu or Grille Flank Steak. Entertainment will be provided by multi-instrumentalist and story teller Steve Eulberg. Scott Robertson will be our MC. Watch for an E-Vite. |

Meet at Marriott Towne Place Suites, 1455 S. Capitol Blvd. Kurt J. Nilsson, MD is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and specializes in non-operative management of acute and chronic shoulder, hip, knee, elbow and ankle injuries and concussions in active children and adults. He has special training in the use of ultrasound for diagnostic and interventional purposes and uses it extensively in his clinic for minimally invasive procedures, such as calcific tendinitis treatment and targeted injections. Dr. Nilsson is a team physician for the College of Idaho, the US Ski Team, and US Soccer Federation; and has served as a concussion consultant for USA Cycling. He has also served as the medical director of the St. Luke’s Concussion Clinic since it inception in 2011 and is medical director for St. Luke’s Applied Research. Dr. Nilsson earned his bachelor's degree at California Lutheran University and a master's degree in exercise science from Boise State University, in addition to his medical training.
