Apr. 16, 2024
From Idaho Partners for Good
"Our mission is to reinvent how people give, share expertise and do greater good together. Why? Because nonprofit orgs feed, heal, shelter, educate, inspire, enlighten, and nurture people of every age, gender, race, and socioeconomic status. They help make us, our communities & families thrive! Our vision is to develop stronger, healthier, better equipped nonprofits so they do more of what they do best. We are building a statewide movement committed to using an org. effectiveness approach to giving because nonprofits need unrestricted funds + technical assistance to thrive. We are a social enterprise–which means we raise operating funds in a diversity of ways, including our consulting practice--Impact Team."

A Day in the Life of a News Reporter!
Apr. 23, 2024
Hey everyone! I’m Murphy Woodhouse, Boise State Public Radio’s Mountain West News Bureau reporter. I grew up in Pocatello, got my undergraduate journalism degree at the University of Montana and now I’m back home in the West after a long stretch on both sides of the Arizona-Sonora border. Most recently I was at the Phoenix NPR affiliate KJZZ’s office in Hermosillo, the capital of Sonora, Mexico, where I reported for nearly five years. Outside of work, I’m learning to be a good uncle and looking forward to getting to know every piece of singletrack near Boise. Trail tips? Story tips? Know a secret the public ought to hear? Drop me a line! Si prefiere hablar en español, ¡no se preocupe! |

Aug. 08, 2024
JOIN OR DIE is a film about why you should join a club — and why the fate of America depends on it. In this feature documentary, follow the half-century story of America's civic unraveling through the journey of legendary Harvard social scientist Robert Putnam, whose groundbreaking "Bowling Alone" research into America's decades-long decline in community connections could hold the answers to our democracy's present crisis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oDVf8sOG9w
