Did you know that August is Rotary’s Month to Focus on Membership? Our goal is to attract 6-8 new members this year. Further, our goal is to finish the year with a net increase of at least 3 more members. That would represent about 10% growth in our club. Our stretch goal is a net increase of 5 members or 16% growth. To that end, we will be having special guest speakers over the next several months to encourage you to invite a prospective member to attend. You can see the roster of upcoming speakers right here in the weekly bulletin or at www.BoiseMetroRotary.org. Who are you going to invite?

Did you know that we are in a Membership Challenge with Boise Sunrise? We are competing for the Best Percentage Growth in membership over the course of the year. The Winning Club’s Membership Committee gets a BBQ hosted by Membership Committee of non-winning club. Game on!

What about retaining our current members? Glad you asked. Our goal is to retain our 31 members by engaging them in the life of the club. We strive to offer regular service and fellowship opportunities as well as meaningful, relevant luncheon speakers. Further, we will conduct a Club Survey this fall so we have the latest inputs from you about what makes our club compelling, relevant and fun. Our goal is to see at least 50% of our current members at our weekly meetings. Be sure to mark the attendance sheet by the Name Badge Box so you are counted!
