Jeff’s vacation book report! Charlene and I spent a lovely Labor Day week in South Dakota, visiting many national parks and monuments in the Sunshine State. At a gift shop at one such park, we discovered the book Who Pooped? This popular children's classic is a Field Guide, Journal & Activity Book for the aspiring nature lover. Did you know that September is Rotary’s Basic Education and Literacy Month? We bought a few copies to add to our donations to the Grizzly Cave Collection Project.
Reminder: Grizzly Cave Collection Project Donations due Sept 13. Help us stock the Garfield Elementary School Positive Behavior Incentive System. Needed: Gift Cards ($5-$10) or Cash Donations for Prize Purchases. Get your kids involved with picking out great items. Bring your donations to lunch on September 13th to present to Garfield’s Community School Coordinator.
