Ten of us Metro Rotarians enjoyed the District Conference in Sun Valley this weekend......that's probably a record for attendance! What a fun time we had! The Sun Valley Resort did a great job with our meals and District Leadership had arranged a variety of activities. Our featured speaker at the Saturday night banquet was retired Air Force pilot Brian Shul who spent his "second life" piloting the SR-71. Fascinating and inspirational story!
Sad to report that none of us won the grand prizes. Darn! But at least Cornelia won TWO raffle prizes. Our club's raffle entry, the "ring of gift cards" was a very popular item, raising a lot of money! We earned FIRST PLACE in Rotary Foundation per capita giving!
