Clearwater Landscaping started work on the Greenbelt project last week and they have made great progress! We should be laying bricks this week.
We have met our fundraising goal with commitments from our three Rotary clubs to make up the small shortfall. Here's what happens next:
- Cornelia will be heading up a team to install the landscaping elements
- We'll close our brick orders on August 20th and get order #2 into production
- The DAR ladies are working on the final funds to move their monument
- We'll begin working with Trademark and City Arts & History on the designs and text for the interpretive signs
- Look for a fellowship event in September.
We hope to have everything completed by around November 1st!
