A few of us volunteered on Saturday afternoon to help Interfaith Sanctuary get ready for residents ( they should start arriving on Thursday). We worked the assembly line to make up backpacks. Each resident will get a new set of PJs and some basic toiletries. After we completed our assigned task, Nathan Smith the Director of Operations gave us the cook's tour. Wow, this place is amazing! Initially, they'll host 205 residents and will provide a variety of services. Look forward to our group assisting in the kitchen sometime.
