RECAP FROM DISTRICT CELEBRATION THIS WEEK!
- Big thanks to ALL of you making Peace and Planet Pledges. We won BOTH $500 prizes:
- most responses of any District 5400 Club
- most per capita responses of any District 5400 Club
That is $1,000 for us to put towards a future Peace and Planet project.
- We were recognized for our support of the End Polio Now Campaign. Boise Metro was one of 6 clubs in the district achieving contributions that exceeded $100 per member during this Rotary Year. We were second highest in district.
- Special thanks to our Boise Metro Rotarians who played a role:
- Amy & Cornelia planned a wonderful weekend experience that wowed us all.
- Shiloh Shaver crushed it as the Emcee, keeping us amused with her quick wit.
- Jeff, John B, and Cornelia led a fact-filled and sunshine-blessed Bike Ride.
- Bret and WBM supported the Celebration as one of the 4 conference sponsors.
