You will recall that about a month ago we discovered that our Little Library's door had been vandalized and actually removed. It seemed odd. We found pieces of the plexiglass window on the ground and the door appeared to have been intentionally removed, i.e. there was no evidence of  breaking and entering. So, Gene de Laveaga of our committee set about to build a new door, which was nearly completed. Yesterday, John and Linda were doing the monthly cleanup and discovered that the library door had been replaced. Wait a minute, didn't Gene just us that he still had to paint the replacement he built? Turns out a mysterious Good Samaritan had replaced the door! So Gene has a replacement at his house if we ever need it! We suspect the same guy/kid who broke the window also repaired it. Whoever you are, Thank You!!

Now Gene has put on a final coat of paint, added a Rotary decal and filled it with books!!
