THIS WEEK - DRONES
This week Jim McKeeth will tell us about the practical uses of drones.
OPEN WORLD SOON!
Our 8 Russian visitors will be arriving Friday October 7th. Cornelia is putting the finishing touches on an amazing schedule of events and activities. She'll publish it soon so everybody can mark their calendars. There will be activities for everyone!
WE CELEBRATED PAUL HARRIS FELLOWS
An important way we recognize a Rotarian's commitment to support The Rotary Foundation is to award a Paul Harris Fellowship. A Fellowship is earned when a member's contributions to the Foundation reach $1,000 over his or her Rotary career. As subsequent levels of $1,000 are reached, additional awards are presented. Another way to receive the honor is to assign it to another person, like a family member. Last week were happy to honor the following members for their continuing support:
  • Allan Bosch PHF+2
  • Mary Reiman PHF +2
  • Janice Fulkerson PHF+1
  • Jeff Dinwiddie PHF for Marta
  • Tyson Wise PHF for Janelle
SELL, SELL, SELL THOSE ROSES!
Our 2016 Rose Sale is underway! Our goal is to sell 410 dozen! $25. per doz. All red.  The roses will be available for delivery October 24-27. This is our major fundraiser for the year and will support our club service projects. The order form is available for download on the website under "Club Documents".

Our roses come from DWF. Tim Harrigfeld gives us great attention! We pick up the raw materials and deliver them to the Horticulture class at Borah High School. Under the direction of Jeremy Thompson, the students build our bouquets.
