Our speaker this week will be Wendy Wilson, Executive Director of the Snake River Alliance.
"The Snake River Alliance has spent months working with many solar installers and technical experts to prepare its “Solarize the Valley” campaign designed to take some of the hassle, not to mention some of the costs, out of going solar. With the help of Alliance staff, volunteers, and an energetic group of “solar ambassadors,” Solarize the Valley does much of the consumers’ homework for them – such as negotiating competitive prices for high quality, American-made solar panels. "
We were please to welcome as our guests last week our current Youth Exchange student Nagore Fustero from Spain and her host Dad, Frank Lee. We also welcomed Camille Renardfrom France who lived with Allan Bosch 16 years ago. Nagore told us a bit about her experience in Boise and the USA. When asked if the food at Boise's Basque restaurant compared to home, she remarked " well, it's close...) Frank Lee has had three Youth Exchange students over the years; both he and his wife were Rotary Exchange Students themselves. He says "Rotary's program is the best!".
Our Incoming Youth Exchange student, Denise Pimental from Brazil, will arrive on August 17th. we'll need a bunch of folks to be the Welcoming Committee! Put it on your calendar now!

Scott and Keri Swan returned form the Rotary International Convention in Korea. They had a blast! He brought us a souvenir - a snack packet of seaweed crisps. (I tried one, it was AWFUL!!)
Our guests last week were Camille Renard, Nagore Fustero, Frank Lee, Denise McClure, and special guests Max and Lucas Schubin.......be sure to plan on attending our special party next Thursday........testing Club Runner's Beta Bulletin Designer is time consuming, finding lots of bugs..........and making suggestions .............
