Leave it as it is. You cannot improve on it. The ages have been at work on it, and man can only mar it. What you can do is to keep it for your children, your children’s children, and for all who come after you, as the one sight which every American should see.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
The staff of the Metro Bulletin sends everyone best wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! This year has been fraught with challenges but we made it through. We all hope for a better 2021!
THIS WEEK - JUST FUN!
No program this week, but lets get together for some holiday cheer and fellowship. I'll bring the spiked punch, you bring the crackers and cheese! Be thinking about a favorite Christmas story from you childhood to share.
GARDENS AGLOW SPECTACULAR!
We had a great turn out of Rotarians although we didn't have much interaction as a group but more with the public. This year's event was different as there is a required registration process to attend this year, to manage safe distancing during COVID. But from my standpoint, there was a steady stream of people from 5:45pm through 8:30pm. I womaned the Letters to Santa station and overheard some wonderful interactions as children dictated letters to their parents to write. One boy just wanted Santa to know he loved him and didn't need anything special. Another little girl brought her Lego catalog so her brother could write in the exact item number on her letter. It was a lovely evening to be reminded of our blessings and good will towards one another despite our unusual year.
END OF YEAR FOUNDATION GIVING
Just a reminder that there's only a few days left of 2020 and your last chance to make a donation to the Rotary Foundation! Our club gets credit for the donations you make and we always look great compared the other clubs in the district. Go here to make donation:  https://my.rotary.org/en/donate
MERRY CHRISTMAS JEMFRIENDS!!
Good job Rotarians!

GREENBELT STORY PUBLISHED
Last week John Biggs presented a look back at our Greenbelt project, which featured twists and turns over a six and a half year period. He told that story so many times over the years, and kept a log of all the activities, so he wrote a booklet to memorialize the project. Who knows, when the city prepares to the Greenbelt's 150th, somebody might want to know how that cool little park got there! You can download the whole story from our website. There's a tab for Rotary Park on the Greenbelt. You'll also find the funny video we produced as part of our promotion....its hysterical!
NEW LINK TO ZOOM
Did you ever fumble around looking for the link to our Zoom meetings? We have a new way that's really easy: go to our club website. On the left hand side under "Meeting Information" click on the icon for "Join Us Online". You'll go right in! Easy Peasy!
