ROTARY FOUNDATION CHALLENGE FROM BUCK AND JEFF
Rotary Direct is an easy, efficient, secure way to make contributions to the Rotary Foundation (Annual Fund – SHARE) and work toward you’re (and the Club’s) Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) status.  One of our Club goals is to ensure we remain an EREY Club, a designation based on each Club member donating something to the Foundation and with per capital giving of over $100.  We have been an EREY Club since 2012, and we have surpassed the per capital giving requirement since 2010.  Rotary Direct is the most efficient way to make contributions.  Rotary will automatically charge your credit card on a frequency and amount you designate.  Please select the AF-SHARE (Annual Fund – Share) under Gift Designation to ensure 50% of these funds will come back to our District for local and international grant support.

Because Rotary Direct significantly reduces Buck’s (our Treasurer) administration of your Rotary donations, he is willing to contribute $20 for every person who signs up for Rotary Direct!  Please join me and the other 18 Club members already signed up for Rotary Direct.  Even if 100% of our members are signed up, we won’t stop the annual wine raffle!  In addition to Buck’s contribution benefit, Jeff Dinwiddie is willing to donate 100 Recognition Points to anyone signing up for Rotary Direct!  These generous matches are available thru February, so please let John Schubin know if you have signed up online https://www.rotary.org/myrotary/en/take-action/give/ways-give (or enroll by phone at +1-866-976-8279) or need a form to complete/mail back to Rotary.  I look forward to sharing our progress in a few weeks, but please do it NOW!

Thank you for your support and contributions to the Rotary Foundation.  Together we are truly “doing good in the world” through one of the largest and most efficient global charities!

NOMINATE FOR ETHICS IN BUSINESS AWARD
Ethics In Business:  Business ethics is the behavior that a business adheres to in its daily dealings with the world. The ethics of a particular business can be diverse. They apply not only to how the business interacts with the world at large, but also to their one-on-one dealings with a single customer.

Consider nominating business people you know who have Integrity, a Sense of Responsibility, an Emphasis on Quality, Discipline, and a Sense of Teamwork.

This is a program developed by the Boise Rotary Club downtown. Janice can direct you to a nomination form. This award has been bestowed upon our own Roger Brazier in previous years!
