Since inception, the Foundation has issued more than $400,000 in grants, and has an endowment just short of $1 million. All seven Rotary Clubs in Ada County participate in GBRF and are represented on its Board of Directors.

A Limited number of orders will be available at our meeting on the 25th, the rest can be picked up a day or two later at Borah. (Note: Dave Thornton has bet a lunch with Scott Swan for the most sold)
Great friends, great wine and great snacks at last week's after work get together at Telaya Winery. Thanks to the Social Committee for setting that up! Lets do it again!
Last week Jim McKeen from Embarcadero Technologies gave a demonstration of controlling things with one's brain waves. It was creepy! He trained his laptop to understand Allan's commands for "turn left" and "rise" then let Allan fly the drone! Check out the video!
Our guests last week were brand new members Dan McCown and Will Fowler, Test Driver Deb Every, and Ryan, Joel, and John...............be sure to sponsor a few miles with Mary Reiman on her Tucson ride for Polio. Her goal is $3,000......Dictionaries have been ordered. When they arrive, we'll have a sticker party...........I have two challenges with our Russians: (1) How do you explain baseball to a non-English speaker from Russia. We'll be in the thick of the playoffs (2) How do you explain our political system?
