BOARD MEETING WEDNESDAY 7:30am
THIS WEEK - GLOBAL GRANT SCHOLAR
This week our guest will be Jessica Northam who has recently completed a year of graduate study in Barranquilla, Columbia. Her home club is the Rotary Club of Manhattan, Kansas. She's in Boise this month visiting family so we're lucky to have connected with her!  The Global Grant is one of the premier programs of the Rotary Foundation.
GREENBELT UPDATE
Lots of progress to report:
  • The on-line ordering system is in "test" mode
  • We've set up the PayPal account to accept payments
  • We're ordering another batch of T-shirts from McCu's
  • We've set up the sub-account in the District's tax-exempt account
  • We're making presentations to Boise Downtown (4:00 Tues) and Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance (6:30 Thurs) 
  • Parks Commission hears our proposal on Thursday 4:00 City Hall
  • Final proof of our brochure
  • Making plans for April 1st Fellowship "Kick Off" event - family bike ride and more -  mark your calendar now!
The excitement mounts!!
FELLOWSHIP 101 RULE CHANGE
Fellowship 1 on 1 now includes the following:
  1. Meeting someone outside of the club (Non-Members or Members) and you must chat about Rotary!
  2. It also includes Bringing guests to the Rotary Meeting.
 
Remember your name goes on the bottom in the invited by:______________   (WHO EVER NAME IS ON THIS LINE WINS THE GIFT CARD!!!!!)
Please make sure you write down the persons info you went to lunch with. Also if you win the drawing be prepared to give us a little info on your meeting.
Drawing is held first Tuesday of the month during Announcements. Please hold on to your cards for this day and I will collect them before the drawing!

Boise Metro Fellowship is planning a Wine Tour
This is limited to the First 24 people.
*There is only room on the Bus for 24
This tour will take place on
Sat April 29
11:00am- 5:00pm
 
We'll visit 5-7 wineries! Maybe dinner to follow? Pick-up spot TBA.
Fellowship will provide Snack and Food and Bottled Water, Cups and Ice
The Bus has a FULL Liquor License so we can bring WHATEVER we want on the bus so BYOB.

Our guests last week were Wendy McCoy, Beth Oppenheimer and Justin Jantz (our newest Test Driver)....Mary and Cahill represented us at last week's Boise Public Radio event......don't forget to vote on Tuesday!........at last count, there were 8 spots left on the Wine Tour Bus .......good luck to Shilo on her new job with an architectural firm in Boise..........thanks to our Deb Every for her informative talk about Vet's mental health......this month's winner of the Fellowship 101 prize went to Carrie W....don't forget to invite a Rotary friend to coffee or lunch!........Rick H. just got back from a vacation to southeast Asia - Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand.....to cross the street, just walk slowly, they'll drive around you......
