This week we'll meet at the offices of Intermountain 3D Printing at 9225 Chinden Ave, Suite F.  (Just East of Maple Grove Rd)  (The club will provide bag lunches - please RSVP to Mary Rieman - Sandwich or wrap). The company was formed to provide innovative ways to use new 3D printing technology. 

 

Intermountain 3D was formed in 2014 by Brian and Lynn Hoffman, both formerly of HP. Some of you may know Lynn who, after her many years at HP, was the Executive Director of the Idaho Non-Profit Center.

Rotarians are often confused about the concept of "Recognition Points" in your Rotary Foundation account. Janice helped us to understand in her presentation at last week's Board meeting.

 

For every dollar you contribute to the Annual fund or Polio Plus, you earn one "recognition point". These points can be transferred to other people to help them toward their goal of becoming a Paul Harris Fellow.  Click here to see the RI document which explains it all.

 

A bigger challenge is to find your own data! Try this: log into My Rotary. Click on the Rotary Foundation blue tab, then Foundation Reports, then you should see Donor History Report. That's where you can download your own individual giving record and see how many recognition points you have. 

At least week's Board meeting, we voted to donate $500 to the Gorongosa project that Boise Sunrise is working on.......we attended Eagle/Garden City's Chocolate event in Meridian Saturday night - it was awesome!........did you realize that the Bike Ride Polio held last month, when they added in the amounts pledged by people who were riding at home, ended up at $14 million!! WOW!..............Congratulations to Will Ellsworth who has completed the requirements of his Red Badge.........You should have also received the District Bulletin be sure to read it, cover to cover!...the date for our commitment to cook hot dogs for the Senior Games funrun/walk has been changed to May 7th....................
