No program this week. Our Fellowship Committee has some activities planned that will help us get to know each other a bit better. Hmmm. What could that be?
We've decided to pass the hat (plus supplement from the treasury as needed) so we can purchase $400 worth of holiday turkeys for the Boise Rescue Mission. We're getting from FSA for about $1.40 a pound. If you want to help with the delivery, meet at the Rescue mission on Monday at 4:30.
They made it! Mary, Don and Jeff gave it their all for Polio on Saturday! Mary had raised over $5,000 in her Polio Challenge (that will end up being over $15,000 with matches!). The guy with Mary and Don is John Hewko, Rotary International's General Secretary (i.e., the Top Dog). That's Jeff on the ground trying to regain his composure. Thanks to all who participated in this event!
Our next Paul Harris Recognition Day will be November 22nd. We'll honor eight Rotarians and family members for their support of the Rotary Foundation. Past District Governor Marianne will join us to do the honors.
Thanks to everyone for a hugely successful Rose Sale! Janice reports that our NET is just about $7,000!! John Schubin wins the prize for most sold with 68 (how does he do that?). Scott was right behind at 65. Nobody else was even close. But we all done good! A big "thank you" goes out to the Horticulture class at Borah High. We'll be making a donation to their program of $500.

Every year we volunteer at the Botanical Garden's "Gardens Aglow". We act as greeters, fire managers, cocoa servers, etc. Keep Dec 13th open. More details to follow.
Thank you for choosing to volunteer at The Idaho Foodbank and helping us to provide food to Idaho families this holiday season! The IdahoFoodbank has a volunteer registration system that requires each volunteer to register for the event. This allows us to get the waivers and emergency contact information for each of the volunteers as well as accurately report volunteer numbers and hours donated for your organization. I have made a reservation for BizPrint.com for 8 volunteers on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 7PM – 9PM. I have instructions for your group below that they can use to sign up under this reservation using your group’s Join Code.
