Our speaker this week will be Blaine Jacobsen, Executive Director of the Idaho Wheat Commission. http://www.idahowheat.org/

If you are unable to join us in Tucson for the actual el Tour de Tucson in November you can still participate in this cool Polio Plus fundraiser by logging miles on a stationary bike!  Mary Reiman and her team will be making arrangements for a location. Watch for details!

Our Youth Exchange student, Denise Pimentel from Brazil, will be arriving in Boise on Wednesday, August 17th. Her flight is scheduled to arrive at 12:41PM. See if you can break away to give her a Rotary greeting!!

On Tuesday, August 16th, we'll once again assist the Junior Achievement folks prepare for the coming school year. We'll be assembling packets of materials for the volunteers. Meet at their offices at 4800 W. Fairview, Ste B, at about 5:30. We'll make quick work of it and grab a bite afterwards.

Congrats to Charles on his 45th anniversary!..............as we speak, Allison is delivering shoes in South Africa (how's this for a trip: Boise to Seattle to Dubai to Johannesburg - yikes!)...... Mary's house almost burned down last Tuesday........great to have Dave Gott back with us after a many thousand miles road trip form California to Florida and Tennessee........not sure, but I think our speaker last week was promoting the removal of four dams on the Lower Snake river...........
