As you know, the Rotary year begins July 1st. It always amazes me to think that, in an organization as big and diverse as Rotary, every single leadership position, from RI President to local Club officers, turns over at the same time! Rotary International's new President is Shekhar Mehta from India (see this week's Rotary magazine), our new District Governor is Russell Johnson from Idaho Falls, the new President of Boise Metro is Shiloh Shaver. Also, each year the RI President has his own Presidential Theme and Logo for his year. This year's theme is "Serve to Change Lives".
