Every District 5400 Rotarian should support the raffle at the single ticket level of $20, a book of five for $100 or a book of twelve for $200. Promotion of the raffle is the President Elect's (or another designated member) responsibility. Promote the raffle within your Club and to nonmembers.
The raffle funds our District Paul Harris matching points program and helps to send our Presidents Elect to the President Elect Leadership Seminar (PETS) in Seattle. The Northwest PELS is an excellent, expensive program and clubs need your support to give our Presidents Elects high quality training. . The Rotary Foundation and the Paul Harris matching points program is what Rotary is about. Your club will receive $4 per ticket sold if represented at the District Celebration. Sell 500 tickets and make $2000! If it sells the winning ticket, your club will receive $5000. Our goal is to sell $100,000 of tickets. It is a big deal! The drawing is on May 3rd at the District celebration.
