July 1st marks the beginning of the Rotary year. Rotary is a unique organization. Imagine this: EVERY leadership position, club presidents, boards, district governors, even R.I. Presidents, serve one year terms starting July 1st. How do you run an organization of 1.2 million members, in over 200 countries, when all the leadership positions change all at once! The incoming R.I. president is Holger Knaak from Germany. As is custom, each R.I. president has a "President's Theme" for his year. This year, the theme is "Rotary Opens Opportunities".
