 Ramadan is the holy month of the Islamic calendar. It’s a month-long period of fasting, (3/10 to 4/9) followed by a feast day celebration that’s also a day of giving gifts and doing acts of kindness. For you Christians, you might think of like Lent, followed by Christmas Day! 😊 To acknowledge our local refugee community, many of whom are Muslim, our club will once again support the Ramadan Grocery Project this year. You can help: - Donate food (or money for food) to Cornelia who heads up the annual service project. You can find her on Venmo and PayPal. Deliver a completed gift bag.

This is Club Assembly Week. In addition to discussing club business we'll have a service project for the folks at from the Freedom Youth Foundation. As Lisa Jameson explained, part of their mission is to be supportive and spread encouragement to the kids. So, we'll be completing some cards with words of encouragement!
