Jesse TreeOur speakers this week will be Spence McNamara and Dona Ochoa from Jesse Tree.

EPIC DAY FOR SEEDLINGS
In spite of the cold, nasty weather, a bunch of folks came to Comba Park on Saturday to transplant seedlings for the Golden Eagle Audubon Society. These were started from seed in January, transplanted into larger containers by us, and will spend the summer in the greenhouse, then planted this fall in some restoration area in the foothills. Our contribution to Epic Day of Service with Rotary clubs around the world participating.
THERE WAS A HOLE IN ONE!
By all accounts, our third annual golf tournament was a big success! The weather featured some gusty winds, but no rain this year! We had 21 teams. We had a hole in one - but not the right hole! Darn! Mark Prusynski aced the 142 yard #17 for a $750 prize! Lots of Rotary volunteers kept everything working smoothly. First place went to the team from Northwest Bank. Bret's daughter was on the Alloway team for second place. Sunrise Rotary was dead last - they won lessons! We will anxiously await the financial results!

BUILD A HABITAT HOUSE IN ONE MORNING
Here's a fun project to consider: For the last 14 years volunteers have gathered on the parking lot of the Amity Methodist Church to build all the walls needed for a Habitat house - one one morning! More than two hundred volunteers, in teams of 6-8 people, will follow the instructions and hammer away! This year's event will be Saturday, June 7th. We'll be framing a 2 story house. This is a fun event. No experience necessary. Kids are welcome. Let me know if you'd like to be on the Boise Metro Rotary team. Please sign up at .https://form.jotform.com/250159050719051
