THIS WEEK - WATCH FOR A NOTICE FROM WILL!
WILLOW LANE PARK PROJECT UPDATE
Members of the Willow Lane Park steering committee took a hike around the park to "vision" what this park might look like. The loop is about a mile around, mostly level and mostly wooded, although there is a large river access point. We'll be comparing notes and sharing visions, working toward a plan we can formalize. Go check it out, its a nice walk on a sunny winter day!

POLLINATOR GARDEN IS A GO!
We have been in contact with the City Parks and Recreation Department about our idea of a pollinator garden at our Greenbelt Park location. They are thrilled! In fact, Parks and Rec has built a number of these gardens throughout the city that we can use as examples. Shiloh is our chairperson for this project. Spring is not far away!
IT TOOK JEFF'S SHARP EYE!
Do you see it?
JEMFriends CHRISTMAS LIST
We still need a few more $50 gift cards and stuff for the baby!

Rotarians, it's time for our annual holiday giving project!

JEMfriends youth wish lists are here: https://bit.ly/JEMwishlist

Aside from the girls in transition homes, we'll also be buying gift cards for 4 boys plus up to 12 alumni. See the link above for details.

And... there is an additional project this year! One of the girls is expecting a baby. Let's contribute to a special gift for her, so she and the little one can get a good headstart in life. There are so many things a newborn needs, and a young single Mom will need a lot of support. I'll gather unwrapped items for that project separately, and bundle it up in a giant gift basket. We don't yet know if she's having a boy or a girl, so keep items gender-neutral.

For your convenience, there are 2 drop-off locations for your gifts, gift cards, and baby items. Roger and I will coordinate as needed:
          RedBuilt -- 200 E Mallard Drive
          Integra Paperless Business Solutions -- 101 S 27th Street

Needs are high this year, so thanks for your generosity. And Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
