JEM FRIENDS WISH LIST IS OUT
The annual JEMfriends "Wish List" is out! It is our custom for us to show our support of the JEMfriends kids by making their wishes come true for Christmas! Our wrapping party/social will be December 17th at the Proletariate Tasting Room on Chinden at 5:00PM. (106 E. 36th St)
Here's the link to sign up!

Still a few items left!
WE SELECTED THE CHICKEN LADY!
Last Friday our Entrapov team interviewed two entrepreneurs from Malawi who were competing for a $1,000 grant from our club. We heard from them over Google Meets (they had to shine a flashlight on their faces since they had no electricity that morning - they depend a lot on batteries!) We awarded our grant to Thenjiwe Moyo who was developing a chicken business in her village. She's been concentrating on whole chickens but wants to expand into layers. Our support will go a long way to helping her achieve her goals. She'll be keeping us posted!

IKEA CONSTRUCTION DEC 26th
Interfaith Sanctuary is scheduling teams to help with assembling new furniture coming from IKEA. We'll put a team together to help out on Friday, December 26th from 11-4. A perfect opportunity to see the facility if you haven't already and show off your engineering skills. Please sign up here: https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp
POLAR BEAR PLUNGE CHALLENGE
The 38th annual Polar Bear Challenge will be January 10th at Spring Shores Marina at Lucky Peak. Jade, our RYE student, has challenged us to contribute to Make-a-Wish on her behalf. District 5400 will have a team so don't be bashful! Last year, they raised $3900! Reese has done it and Cornelia is considering it. Its a big party on the beach, whether you dunk or not, starting at 11:00AM. You can contribute to Jade's account via Venmo to Metro Rotary.
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA UPDATED
Our Board this week added two new membership types to our offerings. Our standard full membership continues to be $375 every six months. We've added a "Young Professionals" category for members 18-40 at a reduced rate of $220. There's also a new Corporate rate of $439 which allows a company to have TWO members.
