PRESIDENT'S CORNER
The Rotary Focus for September is Basic Education and Literacy. As we wrap up the month, I am pleased to report great progress on Boise Metro projects:
·        The Dictionary Project led by Roger Brazier has identified over 280 local 3rd Graders from 6 different elementary schools who will receive their own Dictionary. The books are on order!
·        The Grizzly Cave has received over $400 in donations of books, school supplies, snacks, and gift cards to help reinforce positive behaviors and student engagement at Garfield Elementary.

Did you know that Boise Metro Rotary Club has an Earth Stewardship Action Team? We are identifying and pursuing local opportunities to be better caretakers of the earth and its resources. We meet monthly via Zoom. Interested? Come join us on October 6th at 8am. Zoom Meeting Link:  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82475129109?pwd=VTh5dU9mSkpuTncrLys4WTEyUUo4dz09
