Leave it as it is. You cannot improve on it. The ages have been at work on it, and man can only mar it. What you can do is to keep it for your children, your children’s children, and for all who come after you, as the one sight which every American should see.

BOARD MEETING THURSDAY!
THIS WEEK - SERVICE PROJECT TBA
RIDGE TO RIVERS
Our speaker last week was Dave Gordon, Program Manager for our Ridge to Rivers trails system. He explained that during this pandemic period, trail usage has increased dramatically, creating some challenges for the future. He invited us to participate in a community presentation on Zoom on January 20th, in advance of a survey they'll be conducting. And this admonition: PLEASE STAY OFF THE MUDDY TRAILS! Click here to take the Happy Trails Pledge.
MEMBER SPOTLIGHT - DAVE GOTT
Believe it or not, there was a time when Dave Gott was clean shaven and had brown hair on his head! He was a "military brat", (he even disclosed that he was conceived at an Army base on Guam). Living mostly n California, Dave ultimately graduated from San Jose State and, after bumming around Europe on $5 a day (lie), went to work for the Sunnyvale fire department where he spent the next 30 years, rising to the rank of Fire Commander.  Dave was President of the Sunnyvale Rotary Club in 1995 and joined Boise Metro in 1999. Dave and his wife Cindy have four daughters (causing white hair?) and a dog named Effie. Glad to know you Dave!
