THIS WEEK - SERVICE AT REDBUILT
A few weeks ago we started a challenging project of making Christmas ornaments for the JEMfriends tree to be on display at the Expo Holiday show next week. Well, we didn't finish! Turns out the "sparkly balls" took longer than expected. So, this week's Service Project is to complete the rest of these ornaments. We'll meet at noon at Cornelia's place of business, RedBuilt, located at 200 E. Mallard Dr (off Park Center across from Smoky Mtn Pizza). No skills required! We'll have Pizza for lunch.
MEET AMY DIXON
Amy Dixon joined our club this week! Amy was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has art degree from Concordia College in Seward, NE. She moved to Idaho in 1995, following her boy friend, now husband Les, who came to join the Forest Service as a wildland firefighter (he's now the manager of the Boise Tanker Base). Amy has spent her entire career as a graphic designer/manager, working for TrussJoist (where she met Cornelia years ago), and Cisco Systems. She has recently joined a small design firm called 16x9. Almost all her work as been done remotely.

Amy and Les have two kids, teenagers at Timberline High school. Her hobbies include gardening, hot yoga and bike riding. She also points out that while in High School back in Nebraska, she drag raced her '73 Camaro! They have two cats, Izzy and Charlotte.

Welcome to Boise Metro, Amy!!

We encourage any committee chair or representatives to attend and share information as well. Everyone is welcome!

Our first one will be on Thursday, November 4th at 8am at A Tavola located at 1515 W. Grove Street in Boise (diagonal from Big City Coffee).
