GOLF TOURNAMENT UPDATE

The First annual Boise Metro Rotary Golf Scramble is a month away - May 17th!Great news to report, our inaugural golf tourney at Quail Hollow has filled all spots for golfers and we have a waiting list. We still have some hole sponsorships to sell - $250 dollars each and need names by April 26th. We DO need assistance from our club members to volunteer to pull off this event. We still need items for our silent auction. There are lots of tasks that are not golf! Please let us know if you are available.

DISTRICT CONFERENCE THIS WEEK!

Big thanks to our Boise Metro Rotarians who have been working behind the scenes and those who will be in front of the crowd!

Amy Dixon & Cornelia Sprung are an integral part of the planning committee. As the key members/leaders of the Public Image Committee, they are managing the communications and promotion, organizing the printed materials from the Wonder & Wander posters to helping with the silent auction.

Shiloh Shaver will be the Emcee, keeping the moment light and the momentum flowing.

Jeff Larsen, John Biggs, and Cornelia are leading Bike Ride on Saturday afternoon. We have two dozen riders signed up to see the Rotary Sites along the Greenbelt. Come join us!

Bret Vaterlaus and WBM is one of the 4 conference sponsors. The District Celebration wouldn’t be as grand without the financial support of these sponsors.

RYLA APPLICATIONS CAN BE SUBMITTED

RYLA ( Rotary Youth Leadership Award) will be held in Twin Falls again this year, July 27 - 30. Every summer, 60-100 teenagers from around Idaho share a long weekend at the College of Southern Idaho for an intensive four day leadership camp. High school students who are incoming juniors to outgoing seniors are sponsored by Rotary clubs to attend the camp. Applications are due by May 20th. Our club has budgeted for two scholarships. DISTRICT RAFFLE

Its that time again! Every year our District sells these raffle tickets to support the operating expenses of the District. It is expected that every Rotarian will sell at least ten tickets. The grand prize is amazing! (If you buy all ten tickets from your self, you'll win $15,000 and our club will get $5,000!) There are two book options. There are five tickets @$20 each; or you can get xxxxx if you sell the all to the same person. Also, for every ticket we sell, our club will get $4.00!

Sign up for our bike ride Saturday 2:00PM 7 miles on the Greenbelt.......we need somebody to manage our social media.....we will once again partner with Boise Sunrise to support Everyday Leadership at Garfield Elementary......final Lobsterfest pie finally delivered!....Rotary Park looks fantastic....crocuses came up but there're not flowers...maybe deer ate them?
