GARDEN CITY POLLINATOR GARDEN
Bumblebee on violet flowerOver the years our Rotary Club has worked on the River Pointe Park behind the Garden City Library. We've replaced interpretive signs, rebuilt a retaining wall and repainted an observation platform. Judy Snow and the Chinden Garden Club have created a very cool video that explains how the Pollinator Garden was created and its mission. Listen here, it about 10 minutes:

EMMANUEL IS BUSY!

LEARN LINE DANCING?
Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) is hosting a winter retreat for all the Inbound exchange students in the District from Feb 7-9. RYE is extending an invitation to all members any Rotary Club hosting a student to join them for a country line dancing night, Saturday, Feb 8th, at THE FARM, 5137 Glenwood St., Boise from 7pm - 9:30pm. This family-friendly venue (bring your whole family) offers an entertaining atmosphere that will teach us three different line dance steps (instruction begins promptly at 7:30). Admission is only $8/person and strongly recommend you purchase your ticket in advance. Hope Boise Metro can put in a great showing to this fun, family-friendly event!
HAVE SOME OLD EYEGLASSES??

Your unwanted glasses can help someone else see better!

Our service project this month is a partnership with the Lions Club. We will gather old—but usable—eyeglasses all month long. The Lions Club will have the frames fixed (if needed), and measure, classify, and refurbish the glasses. They are then redistributed around the world through service organization partners who do international missions.

Gather unwanted glasses at the office!

Ask your neighbors!

Bring glasses to Rotary meetings.
