 We hope you had a great Thanksgiving, enjoying food and celebrating traditions with your loved ones. As we turn the corner into the Christmas season, it's time once again for us to include youth in the JEMfriends transitional homes in our gift giving. JEMfriends is very fortunate to have expanded their services in 2021 and now operate three homes, plus an apartment, plus they support three additional youth living in private homes. Wow! When you see something you wish to purchase, please put your name in the column so we don't accidentally double up. If you aren't excited about going to stores, there are several items with Amazon links for your convenience. You can also buy gift cards--we need 22 of those--at most major grocery stores. If possible, make your purchases in the next week so we can wrap them together at our Holiday Wrap Party on December 7. (Location TBD at this point, but details will follow.) This week, a representative from Idaho Power will tell us about cloud seeding.
After considering several alternatives for a new venue for our weekly meetings, the Board has approved the recommendation of our committee to move over to the Towne Place Suites, starting in January. Of the several places considered, this one seems to "check all the boxes". Its located just off Capital, across from BSU, across from Elmers. Thanks to Jeff, Charlene, and Charles for their work on this challenge!
