Our Speaker this week will be Russ Weedon, a Community Educator for Idaho Power.

For our service project last Tuesday a bunch of us met at Cornelia's conference room to finish up the Xmas ornament project....the "Sticky Balls". These will be placed on a tree, supplied by Cahill, at the United Way's annual event called "Holiday Helper". We'll decorate the tree on Monday at 1:30 (contact John Biggs if you can help). the actual event is Thursday, at Expo Idaho, where volunteers will build 3500 care packages for homeless students.. Wow!~

It was a busy weekend! Two projects were completed on Saturday  - first, our intrepid Greenbelt Cleaners did their monthly duty, including servicing the library. Then, our leaf rakers cleaned up the yard of our auction winner in Garden City. Good job folks!

Our Rotary club is no different than any organization - communication can be a problem. We can text, email, put stuff in our newsletter, but it always seems somebody doesn't get the word! So lets try something new - we've set up a group in Whats App. You can download the app to your phone, if you don't already have it. Then, click on this QR Code to get the link for an invitation to join our group.

Are you interested in learning more about the flora and fauna found along your adopted Greenbelt section? We are excited to offer one-hour guided nature tours for Adopt-the-Greenbelt groups. If you are interested in scheduling a tour along your section of the Greenbelt, please contact Kristin Gnojewski at kgnojewski@cityofboise.org.
