THIS WEEK - CLUB ASSEMBLY
JOIN US FOR COFFEE!
Coffee with ‘the Pres’ (Shiloh Holmes)  We are starting a very informal quarterly coffee chat for members, especially new and prospective, to ask any question you have on your mind regarding Rotary and for some additional fellowship.  Shiloh and membership committee representatives will be there. We encourage any committee chair or representatives to attend and share information as well. Everyone is welcome!

Our first one will be on Thursday, November 4th at 8am at A Tavola located at 1515 W. Grove Street in Boise (diagonal from Big City Coffee).

Coffee is on Boise Metro Rotary!
HISTORIC PHOTOS FOUND
Roger and Cahill have been moving our club's archives from Roger's old office into a storage area that Cahill has. (Make a mental note for future reference: club archives are at Cahill's building). Among what they found are two photo displays from 2001-2002. See if you recognize anybody....I see Cahill, Allan, Dave

KICKBALL FOR POLIO RAISES $3300
What a great time we had, Kicking Out Polio!! We collectively raised, with the Bill / Melinda Gates’ Foundation match, $3345! ROGER, thank you SO much for donating $50 per Boise Metro player who partook! There were 4 of us!!

Boise Metro had to borrow a few players and spouses from Centennial, but we WON in the end! Everyone WON!

Thanks so Lisa Berg from Centennial Rotary who invited the challenge! Marianne Barker and Lorrie Apel were excellent cheerleaders!! Todd Fischer and Beth Markley from Boise Downtown, played for us!
Scott Swan brought his two boys, dad, and step mom until they had to leave for the state track meet! Mary, Carrie, and Amy all caught fly balls to OUT the opponents!

Let’s make this an annual ordeal!
Happy World Polio Day! (tomorrow, Oct. 24th!)
