This week will be the official DISTRICT GOVERNOR VISIT. Our Governor for this Rotary year is Marie Baker from the Nampa Rotary Club. She'll outline her goals for the year and will undoubtedly challenge us in new ways! (Marie is a serious hiker and has summited many of Idaho's peaks!) Lets be sure to show our support with great attendance!

Keep your calendar clear for August 8th. Its still has to be confirmed but we're hoping for a field trip to the Lucky Peak Power Plant. We'll take a tour into the bowels of the earth to see how it works! We'll arrange for box lunches and car pools.

Next Saturday is our monthly Greenbelt Cleanup. We'll meet earlier, at 9:00, to avoid the heat.  

Some of us have been around long enough to remember our participation in the One World program in 2016 when we hosted a group of  Siberian doctors for a week. Well, we have a new opportunity coming this October when we'll welcome a group of lawyers from Indonesia! There are logistical challenges, or course, but for now be thinking about your ability to host one of them in your home. Cornelia is in charge of finding hosts. Lots more information to come!
