WHAT DO WE DO WITH $300?
We didn’t have a planned field trip a few weeks ago and were able to cancel the lunch order in time to recoup an estimated $300. Since this is money we collectively pay to be a part of this great organization, which supports doing good in our community, a few of us thought it would be good to put it somewhere other than the club’s bank account. Click here to contribute your thoughts on the beneficiary.

WE PLANTED LOTS OF TREES!
Many thanks to Rotarian Laurie Zuckerman for bringing us up to date on the tree planting program. The 2018 goal for District 5400 was 1800 trees, one for each Rotarian. By the time the dust settled we had planted 3300 trees/shrubs! Rotary International President 17-18 Ian Riseley set a goal for 1.2 million trees to be planted world wide. So, we did our part!  The project isn't over.  There are four Saturday planting projects scheduled starting March 30 through April 27th. Go to the District website for more information. JOIN GOVERNOR'S FIRESIDE CHAT
A Fireside Chat is the opportunity for Club Leaders to look at year-to-date results, share best practices, discuss upcoming events and more. This event replaces the former Mid-Winter Assembly, which required travel to a central location. Register for one of two different options, grab your warm beverage, follow the instructions you'll receive via email, and let's chat!

Two Saturday sessions: January 12th (click here to register);  January 19th (click here to register)
