THIS WEEK - SERVICE PROJECT AUGUST 3RD - CARE FARM
We have a great service project coming up Tuesday August 3rd.

My neighbor and friend Linda Haley has recently started the Warm Springs Care Farm. You can check them out on Facebook.  The Farm is located off of Warm Springs Avenue and is a therapeutic care farm offering a variety of hands on experiences for mental and emotionally well being.  The intention is to create space where people, animals, and the earth intersect.  On August 6th they are hosting in partnership with the Warm Spring Children's Home / Counseling Center a training for counselors.  WSCF is needing our help to clean up, beautify and get the space ready for this event.  Activities we can help with include planting garden beds, weeding, cleaning out the barn, nailing up siding, etc.  All tools and item will be provided.  I just need bodies to be of service.

Date: Tuesday August 3, 2021
Time: Noon to 1pm.  Those who can are welcome to stay longer
Location: Meet at my house, 1108 E. Lewis Street - then we will walk to the location
GREENBELT CLEANUP THIS SATURDAY!
Its hard to believe its the first of the month already! This coming Saturday its our time to cleanup our section of the Greenbelt. Meet Jeff and Charlene at Joe's Crab Shack Saturday morning at 8:00AM. It takes a little more than an hour.
JUSTIN JANTZ TELLS ALL!
It was Justin's turn at the Member Spotlight last week. I don't think I've ever met a Fifth Generation Boiseian! His motto is "an honest banker and V.P. of myself". He showed photos of his wife Harmony and two beautiful kids doing a variety of outdoor activities. Justin is our club's Treasurer and works for Bank of America.
LOBSTERFEST APPROACHING
Many of your clubs have registered for the Lobsterfest and it is your turn to register  auction items and purchase tickets for the celebration brunch on September 11, 2021.

If you have charitable ambitions for your club please promote the Lobsterfest. It is a very easy way to engage and raise money for your club's causes.

Use creativity in selecting your auction items. Most Rotarians are reasonably affluent are looking for items beyond household appliances or accessories. Sharing your hobby or sport is a good way of offering something at low cost to you and unique to the buyer. Home cooked meals, airplane rides, raft trips, painting lessons, second homes all make good auction items. Reply or call 1-208-412-9411 if need auction ideas.

Please visit :Lobsterfest5400.org for more information.

Any member of a club can register a club  online at Lobsterfest 5400 at no cost. No minimum amount of participation is required. The event will take a 10% fee to fund its expenses. Auction items are  split between the donor and buyer clubs 50/50. Clubs can have  guest charities solicit donations.

Time is slipping buy, get your club engaged in a very easy, pre-packaged fundraiser and do some Rotary good!.
