Scott Swan, our club rep on GBRF, visited the Board meeting last week. He bought us up to date on the history of the foundation, which was created to provide funds for non-profits in the Treasure Valley. The corpus has just about reached $1 million. The goal is to grant about 5% of the corpus each year. Larger grants are being awarded now; deadline for smaller ones is March 15th. It would be awesome if we could all set up recurring contributions through PayPal. Click in the "donate" button. Thanks for your support!!
Its all the rage!! If you haven't tried it yet, download the app WORDLE. It is so much fun! You get six tries to figure out the word of the day. Its a brain exercise. Best thing - you can't get addicted since you can only play it once a day. Interesting story, too. Google it!
