Believe it or not, our third annual Golf Scramble is Wednesday! At last count, we have 21 teams, which is awesome! We have lots of prizes and awards; details are finalized! On Tuesday, at our meeting, we'll finalize work assignments and make up the swag bags. Sounds like the weather will cooperate this year!

With the months of May and June yet to go, here's where our club stands with the Rotary Foundation:

 

Polio Plus - club goal $4500; raised to date $5278 (117%)

                    District as a whole is at 113% of goal

 

Annual Fund - club goal $10,010; raised to date $8,005  (80%)

                    District goal $219,000 is at 93%

 

GOOD JOB EVERYONE!

Here's a fun project to consider: For the last 14 years volunteers have gathered on the parking lot of the Amity Methodist Church to build all the walls needed for a Habitat house - one one morning! More than two hundred volunteers, in teams of 6-8 people, will follow the instructions and hammer away! This year's event will be Saturday, June 7th. We'll be framing a 2 story house.
