BOARD MEETING THURSDAY 8:30 am

THIS WEEK - RAILS TO TRAILS

Our speaker this week will be Ben Kaufman, Trail Development Director of the Western Region for Rails to Trails.

"At Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, we are building a nation connected by trails. We reimagine public spaces to create safe ways for everyone to walk, bike and be active outdoors."

GREENBELT UPDATE

We had company on our Greenbelt Clean-up patrol on Saturday. We also discovered that our Little Free Library had been vandalized for the THIRD time! Should we remove it? Maintenance of the box is our responsibility.

Our next cleanup day is Saturday April 2nd. John and Jeff, our usual crew, will both be out of town that day. Could someone please raise their hand to take charge?

EVERYDAY LEADERSHIP YEAR END

It was great to see you all last week at the Everyday Leadership program. I hope you got a sense for how this extracurricular program helps these at risk youth get a positive, character-building experience around leadership and life skills.

The last session of the year will be on Wednesday, March 16th at 12 noon. That works well as it doesn't conflict with our regular Tuesday Rotary Meeting timeslot.

Charlene and I will be on vacation that day. So I am hoping that some of you might represent Rotary at their last session of the year. Please reply to this message with your availability to attend.
