Boise Metro Rotary is doing some strategic planning this spring. We're going to develop a multi-year Rotary Action Plan to help our club grow and adapt, and to increase the impact of our service. As a member, we need your help!
First of all, please help us gather data. This first step is very important whether you intend to come to the in-person planning session or not. Here is a link to our Action Planning Club Survey. We’d like to see as many members as possible complete the survey.
Secondly, you are cordially invited to join the strategic planning session. It will be Saturday, March 7 at 11:30 at the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce. We will have Scott Learned as our facilitator, and lunch is provided. (We’ll begin after the Greenbelt Cleanup, so you can do both!) Expect us to wrap up around 3:30.

Its time to update our club bylaws. We need to establish procedures and responsibilities for the use of electronic payment systems like Venmo and debit cards. Last time we updated our bylaws, such conveniences didn't even exist!
Watch your email for the proposed Constitution and Bylaws. We'll vote on it at our meeting on March 1st.
Allan found a Rotary project in Savannah......Carrie went to President Elect Training (PETS) in Seattle, last week. Dave G. went too, accompanying his grand daughter, an up and coming Rotary leader......550 people there!.....Rotary Minute was about a Rotaract project in Uganda and Kenya.....Random acts of Kindness was awesome!.....kids clothing drive is piling up...one more week....watch for the United Way Book Drive......Meridian Rotary is having a raffle to benefit a water project in Ghana....Thanks to Janice for her presentation last week...did you know that she originally joined our club back in the day and Barb M. was her mentor?.....John B. recalled his "Pass the Gavel" event at Oneonta, NY Rotary thirty years ago!.......
