THIS WEEK - HANDS ON SERVICE
Our second Tuesday service project this month will be to help LEAP Housing finish up a few "punch list" items on some new low income houses at Windy Court. Mostly painting we believe. It will be interesting to see these homes, made from "upscaled" shipping containers! Will sent around a menu from Lemon Tree for those who want to order lunch. Be sure to place your order by Monday. We'll learn about the project and then get to work! The property is located at 9958 W. Shields Ave. Its near the Winco/Home Depot plaza on State St, near Eagle.  Be there at noon sharp - we don't want to waste a moment!
IN-PERSON EXPERIMENT JULY 28
For our July 28th meeting, we're going to to try a "Hybrid" meeting style. We'll meet in person in room 200 of the Boise Centre on the Grove. Our program that day will be Ben Nelson, our new District Governor. Lunch will be provided. We'll also have a video feed available for those who chose to stay at home.  Stay tuned for more details.
ODDS 'N ENDS
When meeting remotely, how does one pay Happy Dollars?......best wishes to Will's son who cracked his head in a mountain biking accident last week...he's doing fine.....we spoke to Dave Gott who is recovering from triple by-pass....he's on the mend, but bored as hell......he thanks us for the electronic card.....John and Linda B. celebrate 51 years of bliss this week........many thanks to Carrie for her informative presentation last week...to learn more, visit https://www.boise.org/..........last week's Board meeting both in person and via Zoom worked pretty well from Will's office conference room.....
