Make sure a few of them are dirt

The entire staff at the Metro Bulletin wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season! Best wishes for a successful 2020!!
We'll start off the new year with one of our own. John and Linda Biggs have achieved a milestone - last year they completed their quest to visit all 50 National Parks in the "Lower 48". Some of these parks they have dubbed "Obscure". They're hard to get to and some make one wonder why they're a Park at all. Learn about National Parks and join John and Linda on a quick tour of some parks you'll probably never get to.
President Alli presented three of our members with Paul Harris pins for their ongoing contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Tyson +5, Scott +6 and Matt +1. Congratulations!
We have three dinner groups for our event on January 11th. Hosts will be notified on January 7th, guests will get their assignments on January 9th. Don't be like Jeff last year and try to bribe me into disclosing the guest list in advance!
Our guests last week were Dave and Kathy Strasser promoting their program called SMART working with kids on guns and safety. Its related to "Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America".
Secure all guns in homes and vehicles
Model responsible behavior
Ask about unsecured guns in other homes
Recognize risks
Tell your peers to be smart
As surprise auction netted about $210.....Rotary ornaments, earrings and Steelhead tickets........Cahill paid proud dollars for his kids.....Christmas gifts were delivered to JEM houses on Thursday......Brandi, Shiloh and Jeff have stepped up work on Fishing Derby.....lots of people last week!.......Roger got a rooster...Jeff's girls wrestling team is having a good season......
