THIS WEEK - POLIO PROGRESS REPORT
Our speaker this week will be Norb Murray of Boise Southwest Rotary. He is the Polio Plus Chair for District 5400. Norb will bring us up to date on the latest progress in the effort to eradicate Polio.
GREENBELT PARK LOOKS GREAT!
Rotary Park on the Greenbelt is looking great! There are a couple of the rose bushes we might want to replace, but everything else is looking fine! There is some maintenance work to be done, however. In one corner sand is creeping out from between the bricks, there's a tree branch behind the monument that should be cut back and the interpretive signs are very dirty. If we put together a small work party we can deal with that in short order. Maybe even lunch at the Sandbar! We'd need a broom, leaf blower, bucket of water, brush/sponge and clippers.

HANDING OUT LUNCHES
Last week, as our 1st Tuesday Service Project, we handed out free lunches to kids at four city parks. Only two of the teams reported in, but it seems there were fewer kids this time? This program goes all summer; not sure if we have signed up for August. Stay tuned.
