Our program this week will be the Idaho Women's Charitable Foundation. Maria Lee and Kathy Scott will be here to tell us about their amazing contributions to our community.

In the Fall of 2001, a small group of women founded an organization whose mission it was to inspire women with the power of collaborative philanthropy – Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation. Thirty-four motivated women joined during our inaugural year. Today, the membership is more than 400 strong.

MEET OUR NEW OFFICERS

After a successful Election at our meeting last week, we are pleased to announce our club officers for the 2025-26 Rotary year, which begins July 1st:

President-Elect: Carrie Westergard
Secretary: John Biggs

Treasurer: Richard Fulkerson

Our By-Laws suggest that there may be at least four, but not more than six, at-large Directors. These people will be identified as we get closer to the new Rotary year.

MISCELLANY AND MINUTAE

Our Rotary Minute last week was about a program in the Philippines supporting young women's literacy programs.......that pulled pork was too spicey for my taste......our Board met for breakfast at Black Bear last week...a change from the usual Zoom (since Covid)............Reese and John S. say they will do the Gebert plunge - we'll expect pictures to prove it!.......our speaker last week, Kevin Barkley from Idaho Non-Profit Center, told us that there are 79,698 people employed in Idaho's NPs......all 2011 of them!.......John and Charles delivered books to Idaho City last week and enjoyed pie at Trudy's......
