D. G. JENNIFER COMES TO VISIT
Jennifer Deroin, our District Governor,  from the Nampa Rotary Club, came to visit last week. She congratulated our club for having so many members involved in District activities. She stressed the importance of membership, both in recruitment and retention, supporting the Foundation, increasing awareness of Rotary through social media. We learned about the three new club starts underway (Kuna, Meridian, Star/Middleton) and efforts to start a Valley Rotaract club and an e-club. She also reported, although without much detail at this point, that next year's District Conference will be re-titled "District Celebration" and will be held in Boise.
