Our speaker this week will be Kelly Crane, from Because International. You may remember hearing from Kenton Lee, of Nampa Rotary, and his mission to create and distribute "The Show That Grows". Kenton never dreamed that his "hobby" would become the worldwide cause and movement that it is today.

 

Last week two of our dedicated members were awarded Paul Harris Awards. Janet had the privilege of presenting Mary with her PH + 6. Then, Mary enjoyed awarding Janet her first (of many) Paul Harris pins. Just to remind you, during your Rotary career, everytime your contributions to the Rotary Foundation reaches a milestone of $1,000, you earn a Paul Harris Award.

Last week we had the honor and pleasure of meeting Vince Vuturo and his dad, Matt. Vince is our Outbound Rotary Youth Exchange student, leaving for Bern, Switzerland in August. He has had Facetime calls with his host family. His first challenge upon arrival is a week-long immersion course in "Swiss German". Interestingly, his parents will be hosting our In-bound, Ken from Taiwan.

Rotary District 5400 invites all community members to join us for a delightful evening starting at 5:30 PM with an opportunity to enjoy a no-host drink and dinner while connecting with other attendees. Following this time of fellowship, the screening of “Join or Die” will commence at 7:00 PM.
