Our First Annual Golf Scramble is looking like a hit! We've sold lots of sponsorships and filled up our roster of foursomes. Now, to make sure it all goes off without a hitch, we need to consider some last minute details and logistics. We'll discuss that, and some other stuff, at this week's meeting.

Many of our club members have put WhatsApp on their phones and joined the Metro group. We have found it to be a great way to communicate. Go to your App Store and download WhatsApp. It would be great if everyone was in the group! (If you don't know, WhatsApp is a Meta Platforms-owned mobile instant messenger and social media service).

Next Saturday's Greenbelt Cleanup will start at 11:00. PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE: The tunnels under Main/Fairview are flooded. So, we'll walk in reverse. We'll start at the other end, by the diversion dam in Ann Morrison Park. We'll be able to cover most of it.

OK, here's the deal. Who pays for a guest's lunch? (1) If you bring a guest who is a prospective member, there is no charge. (2) If a visiting Rotarian comes, he/she pays their own. They will be expecting that. (3) If you bring a non-Rotarian guest, who is not a prospect, then YOU buy their lunch. The cost is $15.00 and payment can be made via Venmo.

RYLA ( Rotary Youth Leadership Award) will be held in Twin Falls again this year, July 27 - 30. Every summer, 60-100 teenagers from around Idaho share a long weekend at the College of Southern Idaho for an intensive four day leadership camp. High school students who are incoming juniors to outgoing seniors are sponsored by Rotary clubs to attend the camp. Applications are due by May 20th. Roger's middle grandson is a speedster. He set a school record for 8th graders in the 100 and 200......Will now has two baby horses. Let him know if you want to bring the grandkids up to see them.....Clayton will become a dad for the first time on May 12th!!....Cornelia reports that the Ramadan Grocery project was a great success! 60 bags with a value of about $2500......We'll be participating in the School District's "Picnic in the Park" again this year. We'll sign up for Cassia Park at the end of June. Watch for more details; there's a training thing we have to do on May 10th.....
