Our Pass the Gavel Banquet was great fun! While the service was a bit slower than we would have liked (really?) the food was AWESOME! We welcomed a bunch of District dignitaries and bade bon voyage to Lou, who heads home to France on Thursday. Our storyteller, Ben Kemper, was AMAZING!! He told us the story of salmon migration from the perspective of the fish! Most entertaining! Jeff did a fine job recounting the goals and accomplishments of his year as our President. Janet took the gavel and expressed enthusiasm for her year to come. Some 33 people enjoyed the evening! Good job, Cottonwood! 

This week we completed a fun service project for Boise Parks and Rec as we served free lunches to the kids at Cassia Park. This is one of four parks where kids up to age 18 can come and get a free lunch. (See if you can read the sign - its five different languages)
