THIS WEEK - THOSE SCOOTERS
Our program trhis week will be Tessa Greegor, City of Boise Mobility/Transportation Director. She will talk to about scooters and other forms of transportation that we're seeing everywhere! What about those e-scooters you see lying all over the city? What are the rules on electric bikes on the Greenbelt?
GOLF SURVIVED THE WEATHER!
Our second annual Golf Scramble was great fun last week, in spite of the nasty weather! At times, it was sunny and pleasant, but then there was thunder and lightning and hail and wind and , WOW, it was nasty! But golfers are a tough bunch and soldiered through it all!

Dave Thornton's team won the grand prize, Shiloh's team came in dead last! No-one won the hole in one on hole #2; Richard, Dave, John and Charles will attest to that! We had some great silent auction items and raffle prizes. The golf course did a great job in providing lunches and drinks.

We'll look forward to our treasurer's report and the final number.

PASS THE GAVEL NEXT WEEK!
Our annual Pass the Gavel Banquet will be Tuesday, June 11th at the Cottonwood Grill.  Our special guest will be an encore presentation by popular story-teller Ben Kemper! You recall last year he told about Salmon, from the fishes point of view. We liked him so much that we've invited him back!! The cost of the dinner will be only $10 per person. Happy Hour starts at 5:30, dinner at 6:30. Door prizes and raffles galore!!

The Menu:

JEMfriends CARE PACKAGES
Our continuing support of JEMfriends, the group that works with kids aging out of foster car, we'll build year-end "Care Packages" for 16 kids. We are asked to fulfill these "wish lists". You can sign up here. Members will be reimbursed for your purchases, so keep your receipts. Funds for the program come from our golf scramble. Bring your items to our meeting on the 28th when we'll assemble the packages.
