THIS WEEK - IDAHO RIVERS UNITED
Idaho Rivers UnitedOur guest this week will be Nic Nelson, Executive Director of Idaho Rivers United.

"In addition to stressors such as climate change, loss of biodiversity, poorly managed and inefficient water systems, water quality, and declining aquifers, Idaho’s fast-growing population and increased demand for multi-use landscapes and natural resources is amplifying stressors on our rivers. We’re keeping Idaho's rivers healthy and flourishing for generations to come."

INDONESIANS HEADING FOR HOME
Our Indonesian friends left Boise on Saturday morning; they should be home by now! What a great time we had! Thanks to Janice Fulkerson for arranging the week's activities, Cornelia Sprung for finding our host families, and John and Linda Biggs for hosting Yoga. The five delegates were here under the auspices of the Congressional Office for International Leadership's "One World" program. Their theme was "Judicial Rule of Law". They spent the week visiting State/County/City courts to witness our procedures. They met with supreme court justices, attorneys general, and even met with Gov. Little. They discovered that our judicial systems are quite different. Theirs is based on Dutch common law since Indonesia was a Dutch colony until after WWII.  (Bet you didn't know that!)  Let's watch for another Open World opportunity in the future!
